APRIL TERM, MAY 8, 1857
On the motion of John A. Kirkpatrick and William A. Patterson,
William Magee, and Lackin Garnett he and they are appointed
appraisers to appraise in current money the slaves, if any, and
person property of said decedent and report to the court.
There were 10 slaves mentioned and an extensive list of personal
property. The sale was May 21, 1857. Itdid not mention that
the slaves were sold. A C. Kirkpatrick made several purchases.
