  1. Veith Brinegar arrived in Philadelphia Pennsylvania with wife Barbara Sept 21, 1731. The ship qualified- Ship Brittania of London, Michael Franklin Master from Rotterdam. (Pennsylvania archieves Series 2 Vol 17 page 30,
    31, 32) (also referenced Pennsylvania German Pioneers pg. 47) Veith Brinegar with wife Barbara, Hans Adam (age 5) b. about 1726, Hans Adam (age 1) about 1730, Anna Melia (age7) b. about 1724.

    Adam, son of Veith, married to Elizabeth children and spouse of this Adam are “proved” in the will Written by Adam of Rowan County North Carolina. The will was written June 4, 1766 and was proved Jan 17, 1776.

    Adam, son of Adam, father of Nancy Ann Brinegar Roberts copy of Land Deed and Estate Papers are with this record. Adam was repaid for "Sundries furnished the militia of North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina as allowed W. Cathey and Harris, Auditors Salisbury District as per their report...# 39 to Adam Brinninger for curency specie 1.3.0.0." By supplying goods to the militia granted him as a fellow that one could join the DAR on.
